A Farm Story

Elizabeth Powell

Elizabeth has been riding with us since 2001.  She started out as a complete beginner riding our wonderful school horse Zookie and has progressed to an accomplished rider who is now training her own horse to be a dressage mount.  Elizabeth owns Masada Susar and Susar Sabada .

Elizabeth has been showing the Straight Egyptian mare J Jodena in Open Shows and has won many awards including a year end High Point award for the highest scores for an entire year of showing in Trail.  J Jodena (Spunky) is by AK El Hassan and out of AK Maslaha.  She is a 1988 Hadban Inzahi mare who has produced a Multi Regional Winning daughter as well as being an accomplished show horse herself.
Here is Elizabeth showing Masada Susar (Fa Asar x Masada Fa Khedena), a 2002 Sheykh Obeyd, Straight Egyptian, non-Nazeer mare in her first show at age 3. Elizabeth has co-owned Sada since she was a baby and has trained her entirely herself.  Sada won a High Point award in her first year of showing for the highest scoring walk-trot entry at an Open Show.  Sada is of the saqlawi-jedran strain.
Elizabeth also co-owns the Blue List and Al Khamsa colt Susar Sabada (Mah Sabbah Bedu x Susar Jasaada) with us.  Bada is a 2005 saqlawi-jedran colt and is going to be a wonderful dressage horse.
Here Elizabeth is riding Masada El Rabda (*Tuhotmos x Madada Dahmah), our 1985 Straight Egyptian, SOF, non-Nazeer *Tuhotmos son.  Tucky is dressage winner, and at age 21 he considers it an honor to help Elizabeth hone her riding skills.  Tucky is of the Dahman strain.

Sada (Masada Susar) just gets more beautiful as she matures.
