Our 2010 Champions braved the wind and cold to have a wonderful show! Overall Champion and Adult Walk Trot Canter, as well as the winner of the Satron English and the Kid Western trophy is Gail Williams showing Hank. Sydney Peck is our under 12 Champion and Steve Bode our Western Only and Tiki Hard Trail Champion. Tracy Haynie took home the Easy Trail champion and was our Walk Trot Adult champion and Jan Cooper and Ibby came in Reserve. Lauren Landau is our Walk Trot Canter 12-17 Champion and Ariela Hughes our Under 12 with Christine Shaw being our 12-17 English Only Champion. Chris Bode is our Reserve Western only Championand Kaitlyn Whitmen took home the Courage Jumping Trophy and the reserve English only championship. Keith Kosel won the Asil Trophy and was our English Only Chamion. Macala Brown won our Buzznai Versatility trophy for 2010. In all a wonderful showing with good competiton and good friends.
Keith Kosel and his homebred mare Bint Maslaha took home both the English Only Championship and the Asil trophy sponsored by The Institute for the Desert Arabian Horse.
It is not all about the winning, it is also about being with friends and enjoying the horses in an atmosphere of relaxed excellence.
Gail and Hank have put in great performances all year long. It is so nice to watch a green horse mature into a good show horse.
Our judges take time to talk to the competitors and give suggestions.
