| Our Halloween show was wonderful with a beautiful day, lots of great costumes, and both old friends and new. Our Costume winner was Sarah Buchanan and Alydar who came as a John Deere Tractor complete with post hole digger and front end loader! Alydar deserves a bag of carrots for putting up with this! The other costume horses were not at all sure that they liked his get up! |

| Jan and Aiden presented the youngest of our costume entries. Aiden also showed in Leadline and did a very good job. |

| The Western classes in our Halloween Show were huge and had to be split in thirds in order to safely accomodate the riders. There was a lot of excellent competition and the judge repeatedly mentioned that he had a hard time placing some of the classes with there being only the tiniest differences in performance between the first and sixth place horses. |

| Trail Class is always fun and demanding and the performances were very close. We had one perfect score achieved by Chris Bode and Ali, of 50, and the rest of the 6 were from 41 to 50, so everyone did a darn good job! Show trail is much different from riding a horse out on the trail where you can go around any object that your horse objects to Trail riders often enter "Trail" thinking that this will be easy for them only to find that their horses see no point whatsoever in backing through barrels, walking over logs, or "kissing witches"! |

| It is a pleasure to get to watch horses and riders becoming a team. Steve Bode and Tucker won the Hard Trail class and Tucker is NOT one of the horses who takes naturally to freaky things. Steve has worked diligently with him earning his trust and he demonstrated beautifully that Trail, more than anything else is a matter of horse rider connection and correct training than almost anything else you can do with a horse! We had seven entries in Hard Trail which we love see. |

| Hank told Gail that he has decided he does not do shiney! But oh doesn't he look pretty saying it? Hank won numerous classes and was the overall champion of the show, but he decidedly did not like our trail class! |

| Dragging a witches broom stick is not something that most horses will do willingly, but this pair is showing that it is really not hard at all! |
| Linda and Sadie and Elizabeth and Bada have good reason to look alike, they are mother and son! |
| Our Pairs winners, Gail and Chris with Hank and Ali are getting so good together that they are hard to beat! |
| Our English classes were quite large and had to be split in two with lots of lovely rides. This is our Adult Walk Trot Pleasure Class. |
| At the end of the day Gail Williams and Hank were our Adult Walk Trot Canter and Overall Champion and Chris Bode and Ali won the Walk Trot Championship. |
