A Farm Story

Our Horses

Our goal is to build a nucleus of non-Nazeer, or very low Nazeer blood in a world where 98% of the Egyptian Arabians are inbred to Nazeer. Some serious traits are emerging in this inbred blood line. People have no outcross potential except for *Tuhotmos, Babson, "The Doyles", *Ibn Hafiza, etc. There are only a minute handful of people doing what we are doing and thus a group of horses with particular athletic abilities and wonderfully trainable dispositions are disappearing. We are preserving a rare and precious blood line that is in a very real danger of becoming extinct. Egypt is now importing Babson horses from Walter Schimandki! Egypt diluted out their Ibn Rabdan blood! There is no replacement. The Arabian desert no longer raises horses, and the culture that produced these wonderful creatures no longer exists.
