Our Horse Shows
Susar Farm has been having Open Horse Shows since 1977. We started because there were no schooling shows anywhere in this area and there was a real need for a place for folks to school. People who are now equine professionals in dressage, jumping, Aqha, Paint, Morgan, and Tennessee Walking Horse started their showing career at Susar Farm. We now have adults showing with us who started showing here at tiny babies in leadline. All of our judges are lifetime horsepeople who care about teaching and want to see people acquire skill and confidence. None of our judges are associated in any way with Susar Farm and each judges from his or her own particular viewpoint. We hope you will visit us and see how much fun it can be to learn in a supportive competetive environment. Our Fees are $7 per class or $50 to show all day. Our classes are divided Under 12, 12-17 and Open and large classes will be split along those lines.
Our 2010 Show Dates are February 28, March 28, April 25, May 30, September 26, October 31 and November 28 with a rain date of December 5.
