A Farm Story

Mah Sabbah Bedu is a Straight Babson Egyptian Stallion co-owned by Susan Mayo and Keith Kosel.  Sabbah is the son of the multi National Dressage and Jumping winner Ibn Sabbah Bedu+/ and out of the lovely Bint Roulette.  Sabbah was bred by Bruce and Diana Johnson and is a wonderful example of their program.  Sabbah was purchased to be bred to Tucky's daughters and while we only have one baby on the ground at this time, all indications are that this is going to be a very good nick.  Sabbah has the wonderful disposition common to Babsons and is showing evidence of possessing his father's talent for dressage and jumping.  Sabbah has been show in hand and has won top five honors at the Region 9 Sporthorse Chapionships, and has been in one dressage show where he placed in all classes.
Keith has shown Sabbah successfully at several Class A Sporthorse shows. Here is shown after winning both his class, and the Champion High Scoring Purbred of the show.
We value disposition and sane minds at Susar Farm and Sabbah possess both in ample amounts.  This photo was taken of him as a just barely three year old just starting his training.  It is obvious that his ability to assess a situation and not act silly over things that some horses would consider very scary is a giant plus in a show and breeding horse.  Sabbah approaches any kind of new situation with a calm and curious eye.
Sabbah has started the 2007 Show season off to a bang by winning Champion Purebred Sporhorse in a field of almost 50 horses at the Cowtown Classic Show. He also won a first and a third in first level dressage.

Susar Farm is the home of beautiful and talented Asil Desert Arabians.
