Our September 2006 Show was truly an "Open" Show as we had a wonderful mule, TWH's, Andulusians, Thoroughbreds, Arabians, Quarter Horses, Paints, Palominos, Appaloosas and the always popular "mixes".
Bonnie Smith brought her young TWH mare Goldie and did very well for her first show.
The Hard Trail class was daunting and those brave souls who negotiated it did so to applause.
Exhibitors had to dismount and ground tie their horses while working the hula hoop and then remount on the wrong side. Amazingly, everyone did a pretty good job of it.
When all was said and done Keith Kosel and his wonderful gelding Jedi won the hard trail class just two points shy of a perfect score.
OUr overall high point champion was Michele Fowler and her wonderful mule Blossom and the walk trot champion was Ms. Anderson and Tooie.
Masada Fa Khedena who had not even see a horse being ridden until she was a teenager carried Michele Helfrich to some wins.
Sarah Willis and Rosie had a very good show.
Susar Farm is the home of beautiful and talented Asil Desert Arabians.
